Allan and Fred North line up for a shot on “Monster Trucks.” Our Edge Crane pulled double duty riding atop Performance Filmwork’s Off Road Tundra and our Porsche Cayenne. Additionally, the Subie Cam Car got the ground scrapping shots with the Talon Head and our Raptor Camera Car had front and rear mounted 3 camera arrays for the back ground plate shots.

Star Trek
Our Mobile Technocrane Vehilce and the 30ft Technocrane got to lead the Biscuit rig down the the side roads along the corn fields in Bakersfield, California while shooting scenes for Star Trek during the fall of 2008. Many of the chase scenes involving the corvette were filmed off the back of the MTV with the Star Trek vehicle mounted on top of the Biscuit Rig.
Fast and Furious 4
The Escalade, MotoArm, C-2 High Speed Chase Car, Tracker 3 Axis Remote System, and Mobile Technocrane Vehicle (MTV) all worked on Fast and Furious 4. Of the work shot, some of the most notable work was on the opening sequence with the land train and the downtown race sequences. Production lasted for about 3 months and covered a variety of locations.

Equipment Type 92
The POD is a modular remote drive system that is mountable to any vehicle with minimal modifications to the existing vehicle. Requires minimal rigging and de-rigging time; most vehicles can be rigged within 1-2 weeks and de-rigged within one or two days. Various mounting options offer greater flexibility of shots. Can also be broken down to basic components and placed inside the vehicle. Incorporates a separate braking system designed for safety and stunt driving that bypasses the vehicle factory controls.

Push-able or tow-able process rig designed for handheld or rigged interior shots looking forward and hood mount and hostess trays. Requires a driver/tech. Can be pushed or pulled by any camera car with a front and rear tow hitch.
The Push Pull is becoming a favorite because of its quick change time from push to pull.
The Push Pull has been used in many commercials, music videos and features including: Deathproof, Star Trek, Hancock, We Bought a Zoo, Moneyball and La La Land.

This low, low air ride process trailer keeps picture car tires only 4”-6” off the ground. Expanding rear axle and tires allows for wide vehicles. Fifth wheel hitch makes turns easily, up to 90 degrees truck to trailer. Designed to be pulled by our camera car- the MTV, with or without the technocrane.

Heavy duty insert car designed to transport and film with our 30ft. Supertechnocrane. The crane can be transferred from camera car to dolly in 15 minutes without removing camera or weights. Comes equipped with 400 amp., 3 phase or single phase generator with camloc connectors.
With a towing capacity of 20,000 lbs., the MTV is capable of towing multiple cars, semi-trucks, motor homes, and buses. It also has a 5,000 lb. capacity for personnel and additional equipment.

The Maverick is a highly maneuverable on/off road insert car. It accommodates up to four passengers. Great for remote heads, steadicam, standard fluid heads, hand held, and print.
A tight turning radius allows for great maneuverability making the Maverick adaptable to tight situations. Thanks to its superior handling, it is capable of being used on both smooth and rough terrain. It is also very effective for tracking people.
Since the Maverick’s debut in 2000, it has been used in hundreds of television commercials, music videos and several feature films. Some of its film credits include: The BMW films.com, The Italian Job, Paycheck, Spiderman 2, The Dinner Party,The Surrogates, Benchwarmers, Captain America and Captain America II and Kingdom.
